Student Accounts: Tax Credit Information
During 1997 President Clinton signed a bill into law providing
for possible income tax credits for students attending colleges
and universities. Three of these newly established programs are
of particular relevance to students: the Hope Tax Credit, the Lifetime
Learning Credit, and Student Loan Interest Deduction.
