Student Accounts: Appeal For In-state Residency

All current out-of-state students who wish to appeal their residency classification to determine eligibility for in-state tuition must submit the appropriate documentation in support of your request.

All students must have been a resident in Massachusetts for a full calendar year prior to applying for residency status.

All residency appeals must be submitted prior to the start of a semester.

This form may then be forwarded to the Financial Services Office - Attention: Residency Appeal Officer at Fitchburg State College, 160 Pearl Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420 for further review.
