Athletics: Gail Ierardi - 1994 Inductee - Graduated 1988
Gail Ierardi, a 1988 graduate, is the most highly decorated female
athlete in school history. Over her four year career of running
cross country, indoor track and outdoor track, Ierardi earned All-America
honors eight times - the most ever by an FSC woman. The six-time
team captain is also the owner of six ECAC Championships in track,
while being named All-ECAC twelve times. Ierardi, a middle distance
runner, was an eight-time All-New England performer. She still holds
six Fitchburg State records.
In cross country she made All-MASCAC three times and All-ECAC twice.
