Shell enters his first season as the head coach at Fitchburg State. However, he is quite familiar with the program, serving as an assistant coach for three years under former head coach Shawn Conrad. Shell hopes to further the Falcons' reputation as one of the hardest working teams in all of
New England. The Falcons have tallied some key conference
wins over the past three seasons and play one of the more challenging
schedules in the region.
This is Shell's first head coaching job at the collegiate level, but he has been involved in high school, college, and professional basketball for the past 15 years.
Shell currently resides in Fitchburg.
