Leadership... Adventure... Training... Personal Development...
Self-Discipline... Scholarships... Service... Career...
Army ROTC enhances your education by providing you with unique leadership and management experience. We will help you to develop qualities essential for success in any career (such as leadership, team work, ethics...). Army ROTC graduates are leaders, thinkers, and decision-makers. They meet problems head-on, quickly solve them, and take charge of any situation. These skills are recognized by leaders in top management positions across the nation. This gives the Army ROTC graduate an edge over other college graduates.
Scholarships - Army ROTC Scholarships
Whether you're a college-bound high school student or already attending a college or university, Army ROTC has scholarships available. Scholarships are awarded based on a student's merit and grades, not financial need.
Army ROTC scholarships are valuable in many ways:

- Full-tuition Scholarships
- Additional allowances pay for books and fees
Living Expenses
Army ROTC scholarships also provide monthly living allowances for each school year. You can earn certain amounts depending on your level in the Army ROTC curriculum:
- 1st year $300 per month
- 2nd year $350 per month
- 3rd year $450 per month
- 4th year $500 per month
This allowance is also available to all non-scholarship Cadets enrolled in the Army ROTC Advanced Course (3rd and 4th year)
Cadet Life - Experience The Camaraderie of ROTC
FSC Cadets do not wear Guard or Reserve Patches, You are an ROTC Cadet when with us.
When you become a part of Army ROTC, you're not just working toward a diploma, but an even brighter future as a leader alongside other motivated Cadets. But make no mistake—you're a student first. You'll have a college schedule like your fellow students, but you'll also receive classroom and field courses that will challenge and excite you. Beyond that, you can take part in events and activities with fellow Cadets that will make your college experience even better.

The Advanced Course (LDAC)
The Advanced Course is a two-year program which students generally enter at the junior level. It is designed to fully prepare students for graduation and for commissioning as Second Lieutenants in one of the following areas of the Army:
U.S. Army (Active)
U.S. Army Reserve
Army National Guard
During the summer between your junior and senior years, you'll attend Advanced Camp, a training session that will give you hands-on feeling for the Army, and let you practice everything you've learned - including how to lead.
This advanced program, which constitutes the minimum requirement of four courses, focuses on the areas of leadership development, military tactics, administration, organization, and management. Enrollment in this advanced course requires either basic course completion, prior military experience or attendance at the four week summer Basic Camp.
Activities include: Rifle Marksmanship, Physical Training, Extended Field and Leadership Training, and others...
The Two-Year Program and Basic Camp
The Two-Year Program is for those students who have not participated in the Basic Course, but would like to enter the program. This program is only for eligible students who have at least two years left at the university.
As part of the Two-Year Program, ROTC Basic Camp, "Camp Challenge", is a fully-paid four week course taken before the Advanced Program usually between your sophomore and junior years. The training is held at historic Fort Knox, Kentucky. This is where you'll learn basic military skills through hands-on practice and acquire knowledge other Cadets may have gained through two years of on-campus ROTC classroom and leadership lab experiences. |
