requirements in the Graduate
Division section of the catalog.
You and your advisor should also be using our automated degree
audit system, CAPP, to assist.
How do I apply for graduation?
Both undergraduate and graduate students must apply to graduate.
You can download the Application for Degree or Certificate form
(download above), or you can pick one up in your department or in
the Registrar's Office. The completed form should be returned to
the Registrar's Office no later than September 15 for May
graduation or March 1 for January graduation.
There is no graduation application fee.
When should I submit an application to graduate?
You are strongly encouraged to submit an application at least one
semester prior to the semester in which you expect to complete the requirements for your degree.
How can I check the status of my application to graduate in January 2008?

Registrar's Office please review the "January 2008 Graduation List" above. If any of the information
listed for you is incorrect, please contact the Registrar's Office

packet in the mail in November, with complete details
about the commencement ceremony, including such things as time,
where to line up, where to get your cap and gown, seating for family
and guests, parking, and the inclement weather plan. Prospective
