Recreation Services: Membership Services

All non-student members will be required to complete a Health
History Questionnaire (HHQ) in addition to the membership contract.
The HHQ is used as a screening to determine physical activity readiness,
if necessary a Physician's Clearance may also be required.
Undergraduate Students
Full-time and part-time students will not pay an
additional fee to use the facility, and are welcome to access the
facility during any scheduled hours of operation. They are our primary
target usage group.
Graduate and Continuing Education Students
Full-time and part-time Graduate and Continuing Education students
will not pay an additional fee to use the facility,
and can use it anytime the facility is open.
FSC Faculty and Staff
Full-time and part-time Faculty and Staff at the College are able
to utilize the Recreation Center during the established operating
hours throughout the calendar year.
Spouses of FSC Faculty, Staff and Students
Spouses of full-time and part-time Faculty and Staff at the College
may utilize the Recreation Center during the established operating
hours throughout the calendar year at a rate of $37.50 per quarter
per person, or $150.00 per calendar year per person. Spouses can
join separately provided that the Faculty/Staff member has followed
the verification process that has been established by the Recreation
Center on behalf of their spouse. Rates for FSC Faculty/Staff children (ages 4-17) are $25 per quarter or $100 annually.
FSC Alumni and Spouse / Children (ages 4-17)
FSC Alumni and spouse of alumni are eligible to use the facility
on an individual basis only, at a rate of $75.00 per quarter, or
$300.00 per calendar year. To qualify for usage, their name
must appear on the Alumni listing at the Reception Desk and
must be verified by showing a valid driver's license or other
valid photo I.D. Furthermore, Alumni children are eligible for
membership privileges at a rate of $75 quarterly or $200 annually.
FSC Faculty, Staff & Alumni Dependents (ages 17-23)
Alumni dependents are also eligible for seasonal membership
privileges, to take advantage of the facility during winter and
summer vacation. The membership fee for these individuals shall
be: $25 for a one month winter session, and; $75 for a three month
summer session. Dependents must be enrolled in a college full-time.
Member’s Guests
Member sponsors who bring guests are permitted an unlimited total
number of guests for the duration of their member agreement at a
rate of $5.00 per person per visit. The sponsor is limited to a
maximum of three guests per day
(guests must be18 years of age or older) and must accompany their
guest(s) during the duration of the visit. Member sponsors are responsible
for the actions of their guests. Members of the neighborhood program
are not permitted to bring guests.
All member guests will be required to complete a PAR-Q (Physical
Activity Readiness Questionnaire) and a liability waiver prior to
their entry.
Summer Conferences/Group Rental Usage
Usage of the Recreation Center by Summer Conferences or Rental
Groups is available during normal Recreation Center operating hours,
as defined in their usage contract with the College. Summer conferences are coordinated through Campus Living and group rentals are handled through
Recreation Services.
Ward 5B Residents
Residents of Ward 5B are eligible to utilize the Recreation Center
on a limited basis at no charge, provided they adhere to the following
stipulations:
- Member agreements for Ward 5B residents must be processed with
proof of current residence.
- All required Recreation Center paperwork must be filled out
by the family sponsor prior to receiving authorization to use
the facility.
- One Cards will be issued to the resident(s) at a cost of $2.00
each, and must be presented upon entrance to the facility each
time.
- Residents must strictly abide by all policies and procedures
of the facility, users held responsible to pay repair/replacement
costs for any damage that may be caused to the facility or its
equipment.
- One authorized adult (18+ Ward 5B Resident) must accompany,
directly supervise and be responsible for the actions of
no greater than three other Ward 5B residents who are under
the age 18 and have met their 4th birthday (Adult Supervision
Release Forms Required). Check in procedures will include names
of adult supervisors and any residents requiring supervision.
- Ward 5B residents may sign out equipment for use in the facility
at no charge by exchanging their One Card for the item (s), which
are available at the main reception desk.
- Adult residents may use any area of the facility. Users must
be 18 years of age or older to access the fitness center. Availability
of activity areas is subject to change based on previously scheduled
events. These changes will be posted in the lower lobby.
