"RACE" is a program associated with the Campus/Community Partnership
Initiative between Fitchburg State College and the City of Fitchburg.

Begun in 2004, the Campus/Community Partnership Initiative seeks
innovative strategies to reduce high-risk drinking by
 Fitchburg State College students.  Through partnerships between
Fitchburg State College, the Fitchburg Police Department,
state and local licensing authorities,
and local alcohol licensees, the community dedicates itself to
addressing this very real problem among college students in proactive ways.
