Placement Testing: How to Reserve a Seat

For Present FSC Students for 2008 - 2009

Reserve a seat for a Placement Test by calling 978-665-3499 or email trousseau@fsc.edu Tom Rousseau, Assistant Dean of Academic Support Services.

Please request a reservation as soon as possible and no later than two days prior to the desired testing date.

Your reservation for the test date will be confirmed by e-mail. If you do not request a reservation two days prior to the test date, you may not be allowed to take the placement test on the scheduled date.

The testing location is McKay Room B-145.

The computerized Placement Tests will be administered on the following dates.

Continuing Education Students

Continuing Education can call (978) 665-3499 to make an appointment to test during the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Testing during these hours will be conducted in the Placement Test Center office on the third floor of the Hammond Building. 

New Freshman and Transfer Students For Fall Semester 2009

Required Placement Test Dates

All new Freshman and Transfer students enrolling for the Fall Semester 2009 will be assigned a Placement Test date that they are required to attend.  Students will recieve notification by mail of the Placement Test date. Placement tests are required prior to registering for courses.

Students can request another placement test date if they are absolutely unable to attend the date assigned.  Students are urged to request Placement Test reservation changes as soon as possible as a limited number of seats are available to accomodate these request. 

Placement test reservation changes must be made by e-mail to dhampson@fsc.edu or calling 978-665-3499. We prefer to confirm your reservation change by e-mail.

Placement Testing is located in McKay Room B-145.
