The Curriculum for the Associate Degree R.N.

A total of 124 credits are required for the Baccalaureate Degree with a major in nursing.

Sixty (60) credits from Associate Degree granting institutions may be transferred - 29 Liberal Arts and Science credits and 31 nursing credits.

Fifteen (15) additional credits from Baccalaureate Degree granting institutions may also be transferred.

It is the belief of the Fitchburg State College nursing faculty that chemistry and nutrition content are integrated into the Associate Degree R.N. courses thus Chemistry and Nutrition are not required courses.
