Multicultural Student Services and ACCESS Program

The Multicultural Student Services and ACCESS program develop a supportive community of learners where students feel comfortable, respected, appreciated and challenged to become high academic achievers. Anyone can be a member of the Multicultural Student Services program.

The Multicultural Student Services administers the ACCESS program for low-income students, students with disabilities and students of color. The primary services include: academic, personal, financial and career counseling. Other services include: mid-semester progress reports, pre-advising, study/learning strategies and tutorial services. Students enrolled in the program are expected to meet with their program counselor at least three times each semester, attend monthly meetings and activities and utilize other appropriate services on campus as needed. Students eligible for the ACCESS program must be Massachusetts residents.

The Multicultural Student Services and ACCESS staff maintain high expectations with an open door policy to assist students with their academic program.
