What are distributed learning library services?

Distributed learning library services are the same library services (such as borrowing library materials, interlibrary loan, library information instruction, reference, reserves, etc.) that are available for our on-campus students and faculty which have been tailored to meet the needs of our distributed learning students and faculty. The goal of this service is to ensure that everyone in distributed learning through Fitchburg State has complete and adequate access to our Library's resources and services without having to come on-campus unless they elect to visit.

How do I access these services?

The Access Services Librarian is responsible for all services related to circulation, reserves, document delivery, interlibrary loans, and distributed learning library services. For a complete list of services and how to access them please select:

Who can use these services?

This service is available for all faculty teaching at least one course, and for all students enrolled in one or more courses, through distance learning or an extended campus. Some services may be restricted to faculty currently teaching courses and matriculating students enrolled in a Fitchburg State program.
