Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library: Welcome to the Library

Welcome to the Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library!

On behalf of the library staff we want to welcome you to the Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library. We offer a broad range of services and online resources for faculty, staff and all students and I urge you to use the Library web site to become familiar with our various services such as interlibrary loans, reference, reserves, instruction/information literacy, and distributed/extended learning. Today the library staff serves the 5,200 on and off campus students with more than 130 databases, 203,000 books, 3,500 electronic books and well over 25,000 unique electronic journals.

We have replaced our 19 computer workstations and upgraded the software. They have flat panel monitors and we’ve added the Word Office Suite to each workstation and this can be used to assist with downloading articles, spreadsheet analysis, editing/composing papers, etc.

The Library, named for Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Class of 1938, is dedicated to the memory of her husband Henry Cirio and her brother Joseph Gallucci. The Library is also a participant in the in the Central Massachusetts Regional Library System (CMRLS)
