Troubleshooting:
Any computer running Microsoft Windows with a Gigabyte of RAM or more and has Maple 10 and Pharos Popup software installed, the following change must be made:
Change the “max heap” size by editing the file launch.ini found in Maple's bin.win folder (default C:\Program Files\Maple 10\bin.win).
Remove the comment (“#”) character and space before the line maxheap=700m
Change the line so it reads:
maxheap=650m
Save the file and exit.
Test Maple 10 and the Pharos Popup.
If the task is not performed the Pharos Popup will function properly but Maple 10 will fail to launch when it’s executed.
