If you are interested in other short-term programs, semester programs, or internships abroad, Fitchburg State College is affiliated with the following study abroad providers.
Fitchburg State College Affiliated Study Abroad Programs:
The Office of International Education at Fitchburg State
College provides undergraduate students with the opportunity
to study abroad at a variety of colleges and universities
overseas. Programs vary in length from a few
weeks to as long as a semester or a year. We assist students
with pre-departure planning, academic support, and assistance
in re-entering the United States after completing a study
abroad program. Surprisingly, studying abroad is not as expensive as you think. In most cases financial aid may apply, even for students who currently do not have a financial aid package. While you are abroad you will have the experience of immersing yourself in another culture, but you will also have the opportunity to take courses and apply them to your degree here at Fitchburg State College.
We suggest that you plan your study abroad experience one year in advance (although it is possible to plan a semester in advance). Fitchburg State College has a wide variety of programs to choose from, depending on where you would like to go and what you would like to study. In addition to the programs we offer, Fitchburg State College’s membership in the Massachusetts Council for International Education (MaCIE) provides links to over fifty other study abroad programs.
