Electronic Engineering Technology
The Electronics Engineering Technology concentration prepares students for positions in the challenging field of electronics by developing both theoretical and practical skills. Laboratory applications in such areas as digitalization, microprocessing and the use of lasers and fiber optics are integrated into the classroom experience. These skills are acquired through a planned sequence of courses involving classroom work in conjunction with hands-on experience using modern testing and measuring equipment.
In addition to courses in their concentration, all Industrial Technology students receive a well-rounded technical core of classes in electrical systems, metal fabrication, technical drawing, technical analysis, computers in industrial technology, chemistry, physics and the evolution of industrial technology.
