Thanksgiving Break Update
~ This is a reminder to all students that the residence halls will remain open during the Thanksgiving break. Students should note that Chartwell's Dining Services will close after the lunch meal on Wednesday, November 28 and will reopen with dinner on Sunday, November 29.
Road Trip
~ The ever-popular Housing & Residential Services "Road Trips"
are back for an eighth year. Past years' "Road Trips" included Paint Ball, a Celtics game and Six Flags Theme Park.

- Additional trips will be posted.
You can sign up for all "Road Trips" at the Office of Housing and Residential Services in Aubuchon Hall. Don't miss out on these great opportunities. Keep your eyes open for more Housing and Residential Services "Road Trips". Remember, in most cases it's free, including transportation and tickets. Come in early to sign up because space is limited. If you have an idea for a Road Trip, speak to your Building Director! Hope to see you there!
Movie Nights
~
Housing and Residential Services, and the Student Development and Campus Center offices are sponsoring Movie Nights throughout the year. The movies are shown at Ellis White Lecture Hall in the Hammond Campus Center on Fridays at 7 PM and Sundays at 7 PM. Upcoming movies include:
- Transformers - November 6 & 8
- Public Enemies - December 4 & 6

Have Fun and Get Involved
Looking for something fun to do? Your RA will be providing you many opportunities to get involved with your floor or with the campus. Look for information about activities going on for your floor or chances for you to go to campus events at a reduced cost or for free! If you have ideas for floor activities, please talk to your RA.

What Can You Recycle
- Paper products (newspapers, magazines, soft cover books)
- Cardboard (cereal boxes, shoe boxes)
- Mail/Envelopes
- Plastic food containers (shampoo bottles, detergent bottles, juice bottles, soda bottles, milk containers)
- Glass jars/bottles
- Aluminum (foil, pie plates)
- Metal cans (tin, aluminum, steel)
Need Fixin'?
Need something fixed? The most effective way to submit a work request is either via voicemail at x4014, or e-mail at housework@fsc.edu. If it is an emergency, you can contact the Office of Housing and Residential Services at x3219 during the business day. If it is a night, weekend or holiday, you should either contact a member of your building staff or Campus Police at x3111. Please take notice that the maintainer and trades staff complete work in residence halls' rooms during the hours of 9 AM to 3 PM on class days. Most routine requests are completed within 24 hours.
Early Arrivals
~ You can sign up for early arrival (limited dates) with Housing and Residential Services. The fee is $18/night for each night prior to August 30, 2009. This fee will need to be received before you move on campus. We accept checks, money orders and One Card as payments. We will need your full name, student ID number, hall name, room number and the date you would like to move on campus.
~ If you no longer want to live on campus for 2009-2010 academic year, please stop by Housing and Residential Services to get info on the cancellation fees and to pick up a cancellation form.
