- Alternate: 6 groups will qualify as alternates. This means the group members listed on the application MAY POSSIBLY be able to select an apartment at the time and date designated on the letter (actual opportunity will be dependent upon gender limitations; some apartments are gender designated due to RA staffing and disability needs).
- Not Qualified: This means the group members did not have enough points to qualify for a participant or alternate rank.
- Disqualified: This means that one or more of the group members listed on the application did not meet eligibility requirements or application requirements.
Apartment Selection will take place on Wednesday, February 17, 2010:
- Participant and Alternate groups should arrive a few minutes before their designated time at the Alumni Rooms of the Hammond Building G-Lobby.
- All members listed on the original application must attend, or submit a completed proxy application.
- No group may change from the original members listed on their application.
- All group members must bring a valid FSC ID card.
- If a group selects an apartment with more than 6 spaces, the group will have until Friday, March 12, 2010 to complete a “pull-in”. To pull an eligible replacement member in, the group must all agree on whom to pull-in, sign a written statement indicating who will be pulled-in, and the person(s) being pulled-in must submit a housing agreement by 5pm Friday, March 12, 2010. The student being pulled in must meet eligibility requirements.
- If a group selects an apartment with fewer than 6 spaces, the group will have to drop one or more members (usually the additional resident).
After Apartment Selection:
- Reminder: Housing occupancy agreements are for the full 2010-2011 academic year.
- Should one of the members of the group later cancel their housing occupancy agreement, he/she should notify the other members of the group. The remaining members will have ten business days to select an eligible replacement member. If the group does not inform Housing & Residential Services of a replacement within that time, the space may be filled at the discretion of Housing & Residential Services.
- If someone in your group needs to cancel their housing occupancy agreement, they must cancel by April 15, 2010 to receive a refund of their housing deposit and to avoid any cancellation penalties. Please review the Releases and Cancellations section of the housing occupancy agreement for details.
Students who participate in Apartment Selection are not eligible to participate in Same Room Selection or Any Hall Room Selection, and can only change their room beginning March 8 through May 20, 2010.
