Summa Cum Laude with University Honors, Phi Beta Kappa

M.A. Kent State University

Ph.D. The University of South Carolina

 

 Courses Taught:

English Literature I & II & III, Writing for Business and Technology,

Advanced Expository Writing, Writing I & II, Basic College Writing, Modernism, British Literature Since World War II.

 

 Areas of Interest:

British post-colonial and post-imperial twentieth century literature, Modernism (especially James Joyce), retellings of Western classics, and book illustrations.

            I love to teach and love my work.  I also am a huge sports fan.  I read lots of contemporary fiction and criticism when I am not grading.
