Liz Gordon led another field trip to Plum Island (MA) on April 25, 2009.
The Geo Club held its constitutional convention recently. It just happened to coincide with the departmental party on Fat Tuesday, 2009. The fellow standing up in the green sweatshirt is Chris Mills, the president of the club.
On Friday, April 4, 2008, we had a visit from Eleanor Vallier-Talbot, a meteorologist of the National Weather Service, who spoke to Liz Gordon's class about the Blizzard of '78.
