Capital Planning & Maintenance: Recreation Center
Fitchburg State's new Recreation Center on North Street
is now open, and includes:
- An NCAA basketball court with seating for 1000.
- Three separate teaching stations/intramural courts in the main
arena.
- A suspended jogging track around the gym.
- A 25-yard swimming pool.
- A dance/aerobics studio.
- Fitness and free weight rooms.
- Two racquetball courts.
- Two classrooms
- A trainer's room.
- An exercise lab.
- Athletic Department and faculty offices.
- Locker rooms, laundry, vending, and storage.
