How are International Students defined?
Applicants to Fitchburg State’s undergraduate and graduate
programs who plan to study at the college under an F-1 or
J-1 visa are considered international applicants and should
use this guide. Students with international credentials who
are not planning to study under an F-1 or J-1 visa should
contact the Admissions Office to assess the need for supplemental
information.
Which application form should I use?
Freshman and transfer applicants to undergraduate programs
should complete the appropriate undergraduate application.
Graduate applicants should complete the graduate application. In addition, all International students should fill out the International Application Form (PDF).
What
are the application deadlines for international students?
International applicants should complete their applications
by the deadlines listed below. Fitchburg State College cannot
guarantee that students completing applications after the
published deadline will receive an admission decision in time
to process visa requests. Accordingly, late applications may
be deferred a semester at the discretion of the Admissions
Committee.

Is on-campus housing available for international students?
All full-time undergraduate day students may apply for housing
on-campus. At this time, on-campus housing is not available
for graduate students.
How much does it cost to attend Fitchburg State College?
For the 2006-2007 academic year costs for undergraduate students
is estimated to be $19,846, and for graduate students $12,230.
