Admissions: Campus Visits

Thompson Hall

We look forward to your visit!

The best way to get a good feel for Fitchburg State is to come visit the campus!  We have a lot to share with you about our academic offerings and what it’s like to be a student, living and learning, here.  Depending upon the time of year, we have a variety of visitation options (see below) and we look forward to showing you around campus, answering your questions and giving you the chance to meet with students, staff and faculty.  At Fitchburg, the focus is on YOU and your goals.

Academic Department Tours

Fitchburg State University offers more than 30 undergraduate and 22 master’s degree programs and all of them are high quality, academic programs with dedicated faculty.  We are always excited to share information about all of our departments, but some of the programs lend themselves quite well to “showing the facilities/laboratories.”  Beginning this fall we will offer scheduled weekly 45 minute tours of the following departments, in addition to our regularly scheduled Information Sessions and Campus Tours:

  • Communications Media ~ Every Tuesday at 10:30
  • Nursing~ Every Thursday at 3:15

Group Tours

We also encourage secondary school counselors and teachers to bring groups to campus. If you are interested in bringing a group to campus, please fill out our Group Tour Request Form.

Graduate and Continuing Education Information Session

(Not intended for students interested in attending the traditional day program. See dates above for Saturday Information Sessions and Open House Events for traditional day programs.)

Fitchburg State University's Division of Graduate and Continuing Education offers more than 35 graduate and undergraduate degree and certificate programs in the evening. Take advantage of our Information Session to visit the campus and take the initial steps to attaining your educational goals.
