The Admissions Staff encourages all applicants to visit Fitchburg State College’s campus. Student-guided campus tours, as well as a variety of other visitation programs, are available to people who are interested in learning more about our campus and/or programs.

Admissions Office Hours

Monday – Thursday 8:00 am to 6:30 pm
Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Student-Guided Campus Tours

Student-guided campus tours are offered Monday - Friday at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm.  It is not necessary to make an appointment for a tour; all tours depart from the Admissions Office, which is located in the Anthony Building.  If you would like to meet with an admissions counselor during your visit, please call the Admissions Office at (800) 705-9692 to schedule an appointment.

The Nursing and Communications Media Department will be offering tours of their labs after our daily tour. Please see below for the schedule:

Admissions has reserved parking spaces in our Highland Avenue IA lot.

We also encourage guidance counselors and teachers to bring groups to campus. If you are interested in bringing a group to campus, please fill out our Group Tour Request Form.

Fall Open Houses

Our Fall Open House program is our premiere visit opportunity. Open Houses are a comprehensive half-day event comprised of a student and academic fair, Admission and Financial Aid presentations, faculty presentations, a campus tour and lunch.

Saturday Information Sessions

We encourage you to attend one of our fall open house events, to be held on October 17th, October 31st and November 14th. Our open house programs are our premiere visit opportunities. If you are unable to attend a fall open house, the following Saturday Information Sessions will provide you with a good alternative.

Saturday Information Sessions are offered on select Saturdays from late fall through spring.  This program provides an admission presentation followed by a campus tour.  Our well trained counselors and tour guides will answer all of your questions.

Fitchburg State College's Division of Graduate and Continuing Education offers more than 35 graduate and undergraduate degree and certificate programs in the evening. Take advantage of our Information Session to visit the campus and take the initial steps to attaining your educational goals.
