English Honor Society
The English Department at Fitchburg State College hosts a chapter of the International Sigma Tau Delta Society. Learn about scholarships, internships, and other benefits of membership. Members typically have:
- a minimum of 2 college courses in English language or literature beyond the usual requirements in freshman English
- a B or equivalent average in English
- rank in the highest 35% of his/her class in general scholarship (a B average)
- completed at least 3 semesters or 5 quarters of college course work
