2/5: Resume Writing -
You can either polish an old resume or start a new one from scratch. Learn how to customize your resume for your field and background. You cna market more aspects of your background than you might realize! Presented by Beth Hallet.
2/12: Communicating with Employers - Many students suffer from pnone fear when calling employers, and cover letters seem like a shot in the dark. We'll work on how to prepare for and be successful in these communications with employers. Presented by Beth Hallet.
3/4 : Researching Employers - The company website is not the only resource you should use to find out about potential employers. Remember: this is how they market themselves. To get the whole picture, you need some independent reserach. Our library staff eill help you find out more. Presented by Beth Hallet.
3/11 : Making Best Use of Job Fair - Learn how to prepare for and present yourself at the job fair. Develop a strategy for using the fair to your best advantage, and also how to follow up after the fair. Presented by Beth Hallet.
3/25: Drop in Q&A for Job Fair - Stop by Beth Hallet's office with last minute questions from 9:00am-12:00pm.
3/26: Worcester Job Fair - Transportation provided by EHP. Jobs, co-ops and internships are offered, contacts are made, and your questions are answered. More information here.
