The President's Initiative
The President’s Initiative is a discretionary fund for faculty and student projects whose proponents have exhausted all other means of funding, such as personal funding, departmental funding and College-approved fundraisers. Projects are evaluated by the President of the College, who gives final approval for support from this special fund.
The primary purpose of the fund is support for student activities and programming. Its secondary purpose is faculty support. Applicants for funding from the President’s Initiative must show a personal commitment to the project as well as departmental support from the College.
In the past, the initiative has funded:
