Welcome to the Center of Teaching and Learning at Fitchburg State University. The Center supports a wide variety of programs for full-time, tenure-track faculty and librarians and part-time adjuncts. We sponsor a faculty speakers' series, the mentorship of incoming faculty and librarians, innovation grants to encourage the use of new technologies or teaching methods in the classroom, demonstrations of the latest technologies, book signings and artists' presentations, as well as a host of instructional technology workshops. For more details see the annual reports: AY09/10, AY08/09, AY07/08, AY06/07.

In 2006, the Center moved into the library next to the circulation desk just inside the main entrance. The Center is staffed only occasionally, however is open to all faculty during standard business hours. From June 2009 to May 2011, the CTL has two faculty co-directors: Jennifer Berg and Peter Staab. Please contact them with any questions. Additional information about the Center is available on the history of the Center for Teaching & Learning page.

The Center's website was reorganized in the summer of 2010. The Program & Events page shows all happenings with the CTL and the Calendar page lists all events and meetings that take place within the CTL. the Innovation Grants page contains information about the current AY grants and applications as well as past recipients. The Resource Center Page has been completely redesigned to include a searchable database of all of the Center's holdings (both electronic and paperbound). In addition, it has information about technology training and relevant conferences.
