In the spring term of 2006, the Center for Teaching and Learning moved into its new home in the Hammond Building. We're now located on the first floor of the Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library, just beyond the circulation desk. The new space will enable us to host a wide variety of professional development opportunities. Moreover, our professional staff will be on hand to assist you in your efforts to change the teaching and learning environment.
The Center supports a wide variety of programs for full-time, tenure-track faculty and librarians and part-time adjuncts. We sponsor a faculty speakers' series, the mentorship of incoming faculty and librarians, innovation grants to encourage the use of new technologies or teaching methods in the classroom, demonstrations of the latest technologies, book signings and artists' presentations, as well as a host of instructional technology workshops.
