What is Language!
A comprehensive Literacy Intervention Curriculum
Since its introduction in 1994, Language! has become the premier literacy curriculum for delayed readers, writers and spellers. Language! training prepares teachers to implement Language! in their classrooms.
Teachers will:
- Receive modeling of instructional techniques and strategies.
- Learn how to use the lesson plans to develop interactive lessons.
- Understand the diffferences in the structure and functioning of the brain in delayed readers.
- Gain knowledge of research on effective language instruction.
- Receive an intensive review of phonemic awareness training.
- Acquire an understanding of the sequence of the strands.
Courses can be taken for Professional Development Points (PDPs) and Graduate Credit.
