Counseling Services: Emergencies

During business hours,
you may "walk-in" to the Counseling Services Office without an appointment from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The Office is located on the third floor of the Hammond Building in room 325.

For an emergency after business hours (that is after 5:00 PM and on the weekends during the regular academic year), Counseling Services staff provide 24-hour crisis response to the College. The counselor on-call can be reached through Campus Police (665-3111) or a Campus Living staff member.

If you live on-campus, you may contact the Campus Police, a Resident Director, or a Resident Assistant.

If you live off-campus, contact your usual health care provider (e.g., HMO, clinic, primary care doctor, or therapist), call 911 or proceed to the nearest hospital emergency room. Please also refer to the Distance Learners page to learn more about mental health services in your area.
