Determine whether your repair request is an emergency
or routine?
An Emergency Repair Request constitutes a life, health,
safety or potential damage to facility concern (lost key,
power failure, flooding, fire, broken glass, heating, doors
that cannot be secured, etc).
Routine Repair Request is any repair that would improve
or maintain the comfort and convenience of your living environment
(replacing light bulbs, repairing leaking faucets, repairing
furniture, painting, replacing ceiling tiles, electrical
repairs, etc).
Communicate!
For Emergency Repair Requests, contact
a member of your building staff or call Housing and Residential Services at x3219 during weekdays. On evenings,
weekends and holidays contact the RA on duty or call Campus
Police at x3111.
Routine Repair Requests may be made by
emailing your concern to housework@fsc.edu
or by calling x4014.
When communicating your request be sure to include your
name, phone number, room number, building name and the location
of repair. Be specific when describing the nature of the
repair needed.
Wait, Watch, and be Patient!
Emergency repairs are scheduled the same day. If you do
not receive service, contact Housing and Residential Services
or Campus Police and let them know the repair has not been
completed.
Routine repairs are scheduled in the order received, availability
of parts and existing work load. Normally routine repairs
will be completed in a timely fashion. If your repair has
not been completed, contact Housing and Residential Services.
Maintenance workers are on campus from 7:00am to 3:00pm. Maintainers will not enter student rooms until 9:00am.
