PULLMAN CAR HIAWATHA by Thornton Wilder
Directed by Richard McElvain

November 14, 16, and 17 at 7:30 p.m.
November 15 at 6:00 p.m.

This one-act play by Thornton Wilder is in the spirit of OUR TOWN. A cast of 20-30 actors create the illusion of an overnight journey on a railroad Pullman car from New York to Chicago circa 1930. They accomplish this with no set or light cues. All they use is a bunch of chairs on an empty stage and their formidable acting skills. It is touching funny and deeply moving and runs less than an hour..

OTHELLO by William Shakespeare
Directed by Devon Jencks

April 6 at 2:00 p.m.
April 10 at 6:00 p.m.

One of Shakespeare’s greatest plays, Othello tells the passionate story of a black general’s love for the beautiful white Venetian maiden, Desdemona. Once he wins the consent of her racist parents and marries, he is dragged into a maelstrom of jealousy contrived by one of Shakespeare’s greatest villains, Iago. Love, lust, intrigue, violence, and one of the most brilliant acts of deception in all dramatic literature make Othello a must see theatre event of this spring.
