How I Became a Storyteller
Offered by Todd Goodwin of Fitchburg. Mr. Goodwin will entertain the audience with stories and an explanation of how he uses his background in camping, education, and theater to provide memorable and unique experiences for participants of all ages. The work and techniques used in story telling as well as music will be demonstrated for the audience. Mr. Goodwin has performed his unique campfire program for Twin Cities First Night, Sturbridge First Night, First Night Worcester, and the Museum of Our National Heritage.

The Lancaster Kidnapping
Offered by Wayne Hazen, author and professor of art at Atlantic Union College. Mr. Hazen will tell the story of the attack on the Lancaster settlement and the kidnapping of Mary Rolandson during the King Philip War. The story will be enhanced with his original large format drawings, and will explain the issues that brought the two cultures to the brink of war. Mr. Hazen will be available to sign copies of his newly illustrated book on the topic of the Rolandson kidnapping.
