Fitchburg State College and the Fitchburg Cultural Alliance will be holding an event at Fitchburg's First Thursdays that focuses on buildings designed by local architect H.M. Francis.

The project also includes reprinting and updating the guide to H.M. Francis architecture in Fitchburg. This portion of the project was funded by the Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities, under the direction of project manager Mary Chapin Durling of CenterStage at Fitchburg State College.

Baker will give a walking tour at 5:30 p.m. starting at Rollstone Studios during First Thursday events on May 7. After the tour, visitors can return to Rollstone Studios and join Baker, Chenot and Obermeyer-Simmons, who will be facilitating a conversation about Francis' architecture, starting at 6:45 p.m.
