Financial Services: Accounting and Financial Reporting

The mission of Accounting and Financial Reporting is the complete, accurate and timely reporting of financial information to our various constituents.

Our goal is to maintain the University's financial records in a complete and accurate manner in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Specific Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating year end audit with external auditors for both the University and the Foundation.
• Prepare applicable tax returns
• Prepare various management reports and analyses.
• Foundation accounting inquires.
• Ensuring all transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner.
• Intra and Inter-departmental revenue and expenditures.
• Answer questions regarding; All Banner feeds to finance module, accounts receivable, proper FOAPAL usage and any other general accounting procedures.
