Financial Services: Accounting and Financial Reporting
The
mission of Accounting and Financial Reporting is the complete, accurate and
timely reportin g of financial information to our various constituents.
Our goal is to maintain the College's financial records in a complete
and accurate manner in accordance with generally accepted accounting
principles (GAAP).
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating year end audit with external auditors for both
the College and the Foundation.
- Prepare applicable tax returns
- Prepare various management reports and analyses.
- Foundation accounting inquires.
- Ensuring all transactions are posted accurately and in a timely
manner.
- Intra and Inter-departmental revenue and expenditures.
- Answer questions regarding; All Banner feeds to finance module,
accounts receivable, proper FOAPAL usage and any other general
accounting procedures.
